Since February I have been building what is usually called an AI operating system: notes, scripts, three machines, about a hundred scheduled jobs and an AI assistant that works across all of it.
From 19 October to 21 November 2026 I tell its history in a preface and twelve posts, one every three days: what I built, what the AI built, what broke, and the patterns I would reuse. Every story comes from my own dated notes and commit history, and each post ends with practical tips for anyone building something similar. Host names are changed.
Every post appears here in English and in German. A new one arrives every three days until 21 November.
