"Kalli's way north" began in May 2008, a few weeks before the move, to keep the family in Germany informed. It ran almost daily through that first Finnish year, then in bursts — 2009, 2010, 2013 — and picked up again in 2025. Sixty-four posts, oldest first, exactly as they were written (typos included). The blog was moved here from Blogger in September 2026 so that it stays with the family, on the family’s own domain. Every picture is now stored here too.
