Surprises
I put this to different posts structured by theme and time
As we're leaving central Europe soon we took a "last chance" to see Disneyland with the smaller kids....It's a combined trip with work I have to do in Paris from monday to wednesday, and we made this a surprise trip for the kids; actually we told them we'd go to coal mine and they'd have to work hard all day ;-)
We enjoyed great days in Disneyland and in Paris, and we also enjoyed great hospitality from Patrice and his family - a big KIITOS! Some nice pictures from these days are here.
There also was a surprise for us, which was far less pleasant. The motor of out car broke on the way to Paris, so we'll have to buy a new car this week; as if we had not enough to organize... (Not talking about the money we lost by this). Fortunatly for our trip we could get a rental car free for one week from ADAC, so we reached Paris (just few hours later).
As an additional complexity, cars in Finland are much more expensive - and that's why one has to pay lots of toll for a car brought to Finland, unless you have owned and driven in it Germany for at least 6 months. That was true for the old car. We try to convince the finnish customs that they accept it also for an equivalent "new" car;
So the topic goes on the list with "finding appartments for everyone in the right country", "booking all the travels", "organizing continious health insurance in different countries", etc.
I'm not sure if I need all this.
