Recently discussed with Lissu that we tend to have quite many things that would require 100% focus (buy a house, change your Job, learn a language, ...) Just we have them all at the same time.
So we bought the house, see Picasa for pictures. Everything is so much easier than in Germany, it is really amazing. We got the loan and saw a couple of houses from the net, and vistited two.
Then it was a question of risk management:
- how are chances that the deal is riski or bad (house value dropping)
- what could go wrong when we live there
- how likely will we find a better one in the center of Klaukkala (where we wanted to be)
That made it a fast decision, yet I'd claim it was good quality decision.
I missed my language course quite often in the last weeks, project at Nokia was taking many hours and "intelectual capacity". But now there is a break until September, which I should use to rehearse a lot of the grammar and vocabluary. I wish I would :-) :-(
I learned a lot about Finland and the culture too; I'll write a seperate entry soon.
And of course I will travel and fly around more than I expected from the blog some days ago.
This weekend a short 2-day trip to Germany (my budget), and most likely another 1-2 days in UK before easter (Nokia budget).
Just hope to get enough sleep...
