How your data is handled

When you look for a job with my help, you tell me a lot about yourself. This page says plainly what happens with it. The short version: it stays with me, it is used only for your job search, nothing is sent anywhere without you, and one message deletes it.

Who is responsible

Martin Kallenbach, Helsinki, Finland — a private person helping people find work, free of charge. Contact: jobs@kalli-family.de.

What I store

Nothing else. I do not look you up elsewhere, and I do not keep anything about people you mention.

Why, and on what basis

Only to help you find a job: to search, to propose, to write your CV and letters, to keep track. The basis is your consent, which you give when you confirm your profile and can take back at any time.

Where it is kept

Who reads it

Me, and the software that does the searching and writing for you. Nobody else: no employer, no recruitment agency, no third party. Your name is never sent to a job board; the search looks at public job ads.

The AI behind it

The scoring of jobs, the letters and the assistant’s answers are written with Claude, an AI model from Anthropic (USA), through its paid API. The text sent there is used only to produce the answer, is not used to train their models, and is kept by them only briefly for safety checks. I check the first application made for you myself.

What never happens

Nothing is ever sent to an employer, and no application is ever submitted for you. You decide, and you send.

How long

While we work together, and ninety days after you have found work or we have stopped — then everything about you is deleted: profile, documents, mails, applications, conversations. Sooner if you ask.

Your rights

You can see everything I hold about you, have it corrected, take it with you, and have it deleted — one e-mail to jobs@kalli-family.de is enough, and I confirm when it is done. If you think something is wrong, you can also turn to the data protection authority in your country (in Finland: tietosuoja.fi).
