It was very nice experience to see that the kids get the stuff they need for school from the school. There was maybe one folder we were asked to buy... Comparing with Germany that's day and night - we spend 50-100€ per kid per half-year on all kind of stuff (e.g. bring your own head set to learn languages. I understand that I have to pay tax in Finland, and I understand it's reasonably used.
Onni wanted to go a bit earlier to his school in the morning, so he could be already in the classroom and read and learn; probably also meet his new friends. Amazing...
